How do I use heated rollers?

Starting with dry hair, split your hair into three or four sections – our O Clips are perfect for this.
Spritz each section with a heat protection spray such as CLOUD NINE Magical Potion. This will protect your hair from the heat.
Switch on the O Pod heating device.
Place a roller into the O Pod. Wait 4 seconds. You will hear a beep when your roller is ready to use.
Remove roller from the pod, and wrap each section of hair around the O Roller from the ends upwards towards your scalp. We recommend placing your hot rollers vertically – not horizontally – for perfect loose, tousled curls. Horizontal rollers give a more volumised look.
Leave in place for 15 to 20 minutes, then unwrap and style your curls.

Can I use the O Rollers on their own?
The CLOUD NINE O Rollers are designed to be used with the CLOUD NINE O Pod. The pod uses Cool Touch Technology to heat up the rollers for optimum styling. You could use the O Rollers on their own, but they need to be heated in the electric O Pod for perfect volume.

How do I know which size roller is best for my hair?
The ideal size of hair roller depends on the look you want.

For big, bouncy volume, go for the extra-large heated rollers (60mm).
Large rollers (50mm) work well with mid-length hair.
For tighter curls, buy the smaller rollers (20mm). If you’re after something in between, there’s 30, 40 or 50mm too.

As a rule of thumb: the longer your hair, the bigger the roller.

What’s the difference between heated rollers and heated curlers?
A curler usually refers to a hair curler like our Curling Wand, Texture Wand or Waving Wand. Rollers are usually small tubes that are rolled into your hair in order to curl it, or to straighten curly hair, making a new hairstyle. Heated rollers are usually placed into an electric heating device like the O Pod before wrapping hair around them.
