Step 1: Remove plastic 3 pin plug protector

Step 2: Unravel the twist ties that organise the cable

Step 3: Remove the protective heat guard

Step 4: Remove the clear protective film from digital touch pad

TIP - start at one corner of the digital pad and gently lift it with your fingernail. Once you have a small section lifted, the film will come away easily and in one piece. Please see video for guidance.

Your Iron is now prepped and ready for use.

Step 1: Start with dry hair.

Step 2: Shake your CLOUD NINE Magical Quick Dry Potion heat protector spray to activate the lightweight conditioners, unlock the Magical Potion bottle by pushing in the clear plastic ‘lock’ button at the neck of the spray nozzle, then spritz your hair to provide heat protection.

Step 3: Section your hair and secure it with CLOUD NINE Croc Clips.

Step 4: Select your desired temperature using the arrows on the digital display screen. Temperatures range from 100-200°C. Variable Temperature Control provides a range of settings for a range of hair types. If you haven’t already done so, please complete the Temperature Calculator to discover the best heat setting for your hair type.

Step 5: Activate Revive Mode™ for smoother, long-lasting styling in any temperature setting by turning on the Iron and, once its reached the chosen temperature, quickly pressing the on button again. The plates will vibrate 8000 times per minute when closed together.

Step 6: Repeat section by section. The Slim Irons Floating Ceramic Plates are specifically created to care for your hair, not clamp. Expertly designed with Spring-Flex Technology™, the plates adjust when closed, cushioning the impact of styling and preventing split ends.

Step 7: Brush through your hair to smooth fly aways with the CLOUD NINE Luxury Dressing Brush and apply any finishing products to complete your look. We recommend a pea size amount of Magical Remedy through the mid to ends of your hair for a smooth high gloss finish.

Does the Slim Iron have an automatic turn-off?
The CLOUD NINE Slim straighteners come with an automatic switch-off function. After 30 minutes of inactivity, this slim straightening iron powers off to protect your surfaces from heat damage. Your style. Made safer.

What is the size of the plates on the Slim Iron?

The flat plates on the Slim Iron are ½ inch wide, but the body of the straightener is full-size. These smaller, thinner plates mean Slim Irons makes the perfect fringe straighteners, or precision solution for styling shorter hair. You can also use the Slim Iron for styling tighter curls. How do I know when my Slim Iron is ready to use?

Your Slim Iron is ready to use when its green light starts flashing and 150°C is illuminated. Switch to a higher temperature by pressing the temperature control button and waiting for the flashing green light to pause next to the desired temperature.

How should I store my Slim Iron?

For storage, we recommend keeping the plug of your CLOUD NINE hair straightener away from the plates to avoid scratching. Do not wrap the cord around the iron. Only put your iron away when the plates are cool. Use the Protective Iron Heat Guard to prevent heat damage to your surfaces while you wait.
